The fairies are back - but this time they don't just want your teeth...

Granny Weatherwax and her tiny coven are up against real elves.

It's Midsummer Night.

No times for dreaming...

With full supporting cast of dwarfs, wizards, trolls, Morris dancers and one orang-utan. And lots of hey-nonny-nonny and blood all over the place.

Possibly my favourite novel of the Discworld yet. I love the witches and every time I read a story about them, it quickly becomes a favourite. So it is not surprising I fell in love with this one too. Moreover, this book happens around Midsummer and coincidentally there is a fairy queen interested in a fool. And there is Esme Weatherwax...

The dimensions that separe the parallel and the parasite worlds are thinner than ever, and some evil creatures are able to cross and attack. But as long as there are witches, love and iron, Lancre will always fight back! Pratchett was a genius. Be happy to live and be your better self. That is sort of the key to life and a happy marriage. Or a maybe a happy marriage that happened a long time ago in a different world.
