Beautiful introduction to a whole new world of werewolves

Lily Yu is a cop but also a sensitive, she can feel magic. When she starts investigating the murder of a man by a werewolf, she soon realises something is not right, even though the clues point to one of the main werewolves in town, a prince among the lupi.

This feels like a first book to a series where things are still being tried and settled, but it is already very solid. All the different types of magic, rituals and weird knowledge are very well thought and the solving of different crimes plays a secondary role to the explaining of this new world of magic, realms and gods. What a great introduction!
