First, I just can not believe that the author could destroy the amazing creative world she created. Why would she bring it to our world? I knew it could happen but I was really hoping it would not. It is deceit upon deceit upon deceit. It is tiring and I was only reading. Then I cannot understand how smart people like the erudite develop serums but do not realise the population has different genes. It does not really matter but it bothers me. Then why would a group of young people traumatised for seeing parents and friends dying almost every day keep pursuing civil conflincts? You would think they would all just want to run away. And finally, how can you stop an armed conflict between "believers" of a cause by asking your mother to do so?! And nobody tries to argue with rational scientists when you have proof to show and some of them are on your side?!... Most of the plot of this book does not make sense in my head.
There. I got it out of my chest. I am sorry for the world of the first two books, it deserved to continue different and appealing. I would not have minded if everyone died, but I mind that the ending is based both on the good nature of humans and lack of faith in them.
