Wulf Grimoire is a world wanderer and an opportunist who can kill without remorse and disappear like smoke. He's chosen Martin Munch, boy genius, as his new business partner, and he's chosen the Barrens of Trenton, New Jersey, as his new playground. It's up to Plum and Diesel, an über bounty hunter with special skills when it comes to tracking men and pleasing women, to hunt down Munch and Grimoire.

Diesel is back with his weird supernatural acquaintances (and family). This time Stephanie and Diesel are chasing different men but it turns out they are working together and may want to conquer the world.

This is a novella, but I dare to say it is too long. It is unusual for me to feel this way because I love Stephanie Plum and her short stories. I absolutely loved [b:Plum Lucky|1434105|Plum Lucky (Stephanie Plum #13.5)|Janet Evanovich|https://d.gr-assets.com/books/1428185035s/1434105.jpg|3776367], and they always make me laugh regardless of the story plot or supernatural capabilities. And although I admit it was spooky and funny, I actually fell asleep while reading it. The plot was weak and they kept running in circles, the best part was Carl. I wish I had enjoyed it more than I did because I am always looking forward to read a new Stephanie Plum book.
