I'm really heartbroken! Even slowing down and trying make more of this book I couldn't stop the coming of the end. This trilogy was one of the most original that i've read in my life. I loved this characters SO MUCH.They had their own voice, their our way to be and captivate. Everything was so balanced, everyone had your space to grow. Scott Westerfeld has a way to write that don't force anything, make everything so natural. Created obstacles and problems whom are solved without being so convenient.Somements the characters were as surprised as me and in the end we discovered all together. A good way to work with characters young, limited and unexperient, the reader and them grown together.
This books was so excinting, surprinsing and fast-paced. The end closed this journey with dignity, hope for more and a little of sadness too. I'll miss those guys

Felt like read the first book of the trilogy again. The same mistakes, the same inexpressive characters that you don't cheer for... James Dashner is completely addicted in cliffhangers and unfortunately this is not a accomplishment. The world building is so weak, the challenges faced by the trio don't generate a learning curve. Dashner always try to shock and impress the reader with SO obvious things, senteces full of cliché. It's embarrassing!
There's a great potencial on Dashner's criativity and writing but he could try to develop characters. Make them more human, give them personality and stereotype less (I'm trying not to say "be less machist" but It's a little hard). They do things with no reason compatible with the few impressions given to us. Bryson is USELESS in whole book. Sarah seems a frankstein made of pieces of every female character found in the YA literature. Michael is boring, …

Michael is boring, stupid and seems to see Sarah only, always making less of Bryson to show how much he cares about her. It's almost comic think this as envolved mind.
Was hard to read this book, It's tiring pass through the same problems which made you hate the first one. This one was no better, no worse. So generic even though to classify.

First, good timing (or bad timing I don't know exactly). This book came in a moment of my life that I'm experiencing almost the same that Connor, the protagonist. I thought that would make me more sensible about the story but actually it didn't.
It doesn't mean that I didn't like it, I liked. It's a very good book, with a very good writing what it's expect from Patrick Ness but in the end I felt like something was missing. There weren't no tears, no lump in the throat...
I'm not disapointed at all but didn't felt what I was expecting (and so many people felt).
Connor is good character, we feel his pain and understand your behavior and the end which is rare in books with this topic because the protagonists tend to be extremely annoying. The Monster is captivating too and give us SO many lessons without intend …

I'm REALLY curious to see how this book will be transported to the big screen.
So, good book but wasn't as good as I was expecting and was said by everybody.

This book has a good plot (a little bit bizarre, but good) but has a some of problems with characters and fluidity. Definitely, I hated almost all characters, except Rachel for a while. Simple like that. Rachel is problem but in a strange way I liked her, I see her suffering and madness. The others ones were pathetic, selfish and unpleasant to keep following.
The fluidity is controversial because this book was my first reading in english but I think that some things in this book just doesn't seems necessary, doesn't increase the suspense and make the revelation more desirable but not in a good way. Made the book slower and slower and the characters seem worse.
The conclusion is good and with Rachel saved the book from 2 stars
