I was a bit surprised about this book, I thought it was an adventure of a cat with human attributes, but it turns out the "story" is the real life of the author and his cats (I do not read synopsis as you may have guessed already). I have only one cat and even though I do not give him a particular personality, I found myself recognizing a lot of what was happening. I too have travelled by car with a cat for 2h and it was 2h more than it should have been. Moving with a cat and making it the priority of the move makes you believe in hell. The author's sense of humour is witty and I finished the book much quicker than I realized, having bought it mainly because The Bear died and I wanted to contribute with something to the author that made me laugh …

I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys cats, not sure about dog lovers (even though I also have a dog). I am definitely reading the rest of this series.
