Review of 'Destined For an Early Grave' on 'Goodreads'

Since I'm reading the 5th book and enjoying it loads (insert a sight of relief here), I can finally write a review about this one. Cat and Bones are on their deserved holiday together and Cat starts having nightmares because of a vampire named Gregor. Turns out this vampire belongs to Cat's past and even though she can't remember a thing about him, he will throw a fight to get her back. This is where the story started slipping for me, mixing a new past to twist the present makes me cringe as I try hard not to think of eventual plot holes.

Then the main characters kind of turn stupid. I was surprised at how much of Cat's great attitude was lost in this book: she whines a lot, drinks a lot and is headstrong in a surprisingly stupid way since she knows Gregor is coming for her and …
