Really useful book, I'll try to reread it when I have more time to actually do the proposed activities. It is already a bit outdated thanks to how rapidly things are changing in scholarly communication - in the 5 years since it was published, Plum Analytics and SSRN were bought by Elsevier, the Web of Science now belongs to Clarivate Analytics, ImpactStory founders Jason and Heather are probably better known today for Unpaywall, among many other developments. To their credit, the authors do warn readers about this possibility and present tools and strategies to help you keep up to date with the field. For any librarian interested in learning about research metrics, this is a great starting point.
