Overall a fun fast read helped along by the fact that I've never spent all that much time in spiderman end of the marvel universe. The storyline moved a bit fast and spastic for my general taste but the character still came through feeling generally natural and plausible - at least to me.
Personally I really enjoyed the art throughout most of the this volume. The notable exception being Annapaola Martello in issue #4, who was pretty bad really... Otherwise the soft cartoony style really matched the tone of the comic, and provided some relief to what sometimes feels like an endless stream of overly sexualized ladies in spandex. Even if she was in fact a pretty sexy girl running around in spandex. That said, I really don't enjoy when artists are constently being moved in and out of a project, but that's just something I need to deal with …

As far as Cindy Moon goes, while I can see how a lot of people see her as immature, I did appreciate the fact that the plot lines were ever so slightly more mature then say Ms. Marvel. The fact of the matter is that Cindy Moon lived in a bunker for 10 years - so while the pokemon references felt uber forced, I could see why she might be out of her element back in the real world. And maybe I'm just being silly or something, but it still felt like the issues she was facing and the way she handled them were in a mostly mature (learning how to adult) way that I could relate to.
