What to say, what to say... One of the later Black Panther books for me to track down because it wasn't as easy as typing in Black Panther into my library's catalog and requesting everything in site. It was interesting to see T'Challa in what is no doubt his most common role in Marvel canon, ostensibly as part of a team. This time with the Illuminati.
Like but apparently unlike several other world-ending crises that have struck the Marvel universe over the years. I'm no Marvel expert but I was still able to follow along fairly easily even if I didn't have a clear idea where exactly this all tied into the overall Marvel experience.
A very particular kind of book for a very particular kind of audience this book was heavy on plot, dramatic lighting, and general sinisterness, but light on action. Being more of a character development sort …
