Now that the House of Fred is formed, Fred has some extra tasks on his hands since he is now working for the Agency as a freelancer. Fred's adventures are pretty straightforward, but the scenarios keep improving and the funny moments as well. We get to know the characters a little better, but the most amazing is the world Drew Hayes built. We are taken into weird amusement parks, tropical countries that seem to live in dreams, abandoned castles... This series does not disappoint.

I didn't know what to expect of this book, and was surprised to find how engaged I was after a couple of chapters. It's a book about old people finding that their old bodies do not agree with their young spirit. I found the story funny and moving. But I admit I had to "cheat" and check the notes to keep up with everyone's names.

Death books are probably my favourite, but this book is perfect! Monks that control time and people that waste it. Auditors that keep missing the magic of life and the wonderful magic that is to be alive. When time, life and chocolates collide - this one cannot be missed.

Barney's parents are divorced and his dad is missing, he hates his new school and every little bit of his life. How much easier it would be to be a cat...

This book is intended for children and tells a very nice story about growing up and learning to accept yourself. Great narration as well.

Zorian Kazinski has grown in the shadow of his two older brothers, and can't wait to be back in the academy to finally actually perform magic. He is not very friendly nor kind to his colleagues, but he has a lot of ambition and thinks that is enough. Until a strange occurrence keeps him locked in time.

This was the first time I tried reading a web serial and I am pretty amazed at how good it is. The way the sentences are phrased sounds a little weird, as well as the choice of words, but the story is amazingly good! The pace is great, we keep learning new things and the characters develop in unexpected ways. It is probably one of my favourite reads ever, hopefully the remaining arcs are as good!

A group of scientists is exploring a planet and they have a security bot to keep them safe. However, said bot is more of a free agent than they supposed as it hacked its own module. This gives it more time to do what it enjoys: watching series. That is, until its crew gets into trouble.

I wa surprised by this book. It's shorter than it should be, there's some great and very quotable sentenced and I can't wait to read the next! I hope we get to learn more about Mensah eventually.

Oswald Wednesday is the main fugitive Stephanie is after this time, and he is not only a hacker but also a deranged murderer. However, she is not alone in pursuing Oswald: Diesel Diesel is back and he is also after Oswald, not to mention Morelli. Diesel is a nice welcome back (I haven't read his series), there's car explosions and everything we've come to expect of Stephanie but there's also some newfound maturity and a bit of a change in her stars. As always, I had a lot of fun listening to this story - Lorelei King is amazing!

This book collects a series of short stories for children about Christmas. As expected, the stories are funny and you'll probably have a laugh reading them even if you're an adult. The illustrated version is particularly fine.

I appreciate when characters grow and change their ways according to what they've lived. Sunshine and her daughter Aurora are two such characters. In a small town where stabbings seem to be all the fashion, Sheriff Sunshine Vicram tries to understand what is going on, while balancing a teenager daughter, a stalker and way too many hormones. I enjoyed this book a lot! And there is a beautiful but heartbreaking moment that brings a lot of depth to the plot.

This book has some serious good pointers on how to help people cope in transition periods, which frankly happens every other day on technology companies. It also makes good comparisons between what is change and what is transition, and why it takes time for us to adapt and how to use that space in the best way. Somewhere along the middle I was a bit lost but I connected again to the book by the end. Worth it if you need some clarity on how to deal with changes.

Dan Deadman has a peculiar name, but very appropriate since he is dead. On the bright side, he can stitch his body back together and will not die in a fight, but he is dead... and stinks. As a private detective, Dan focus on weird monsters and it's during an assignment that he meets Ollie and then things get weirder - even for Dan.

I enjoyed this story, even though part of the Space Team catalogue it is hugely different. It is set in a darker scenery and is less silly, but equally funny and adventurous. Dan is trying to finding a missing girl and realising he is not much of a detective. Ollie is my favourite and I am pleased to see her staying as a main character. Phil Thron does a tremendous job voicing this one, well done!

Fred - the vampire accountant - is the mellowest vampire, but thanks to his friends he always finds himself in very tricky (and deadly) situations. Thanks to his good nature, he keeps adding good friends to his little family, which warms my heart. Fred is possibly the only vampire that goes against the very popular depiction of strong alpha vampire, and that makes this take on vampires truly refreshing. I am not sure how the author manages to come up with so many different plots involving the supernatural community, but I will keep reading them.

Another great and funny adventure of the Space Team. This time the team finds a kidnaped girl, whose voice is immensely powerful, and gets involved in a set of adventures to bring her home. And the fun does not stop there. Warning: it involves too many descriptions of bananofee. Great narration by the Graphic Audio team.
