Very well written and rich story. But the use of the sci-fi premise of simulating human minds using computers to write a fantasy story about the mythology of gods and angels was not a combination I could appreciated.

This is an impressive text that guides the reader through the development of what the author proposes to be an anti-democratic and totalitarian form of capitalism, based on the new technology developments around data mining of people's behavior. The text provides stories and rich analyses to support the development of a rich vocabulary used to discuss surveillance capitalism and its consequences to society.

Michael J. Sandel, Michael J. Sandel: Justice (2009, Farrar, Straus and Giroux)

Review of 'Justice' on 'Goodreads'

This is one of the most enlightening books I have ever read. Full of important discussions based on real experiences of social struggles to make hard decisions, this book is thought provoking. I only wished more and more people understood how hard it is to make sense of justice in such a globalize world.
